This is the first of a dozen Islamic Clothing site reviews from a Canadian friend of mine who you might know from her inital blogger attempt (Beautiful Muslimah). Since I get all my abayas tailor-made or off the rack in the Gulf she has kindly volunteered to review Islamic shopping sites for me and you (and donate me all her pervious sets and make me presents of her new). Pixie: Alot of my personal abaya collection comes from Islamic boutique, courtesy of their large and ever changing selection of cuts (including colour options beyond black) and designs. Sheer options makes me willing to wait for the month and a half shipping times (the company is based in Egypt), and their high shipping costs (they do not give discounts for multiple purchases in one go---what's up with that????). Still, I love their selection, and always receieve my product in the end. One note to go by when ordering: the pictures do not always show the true colour, so order by the stated colour on the ordering option (the lighting for the product photos was BAAAAAAAAD!!!!). Individual abaya costs WITH shipping range from $50.00 USD-$130 USD and most styles come with a matching shayla option (I only go for this IF the shayla has a special matching design cuz the shayla fabric isn't the same quality as the fabric of the abayas). My final word: Islamic Boutique= 7/10 (I mark hard).
